Free Dataset Friday: Finding Your Tech Internship Opportunity

The job market is challenging right now, especially in tech. The same holds true for internships, where competition is fierce, and opportunities can seem scarce. With summer approaching, and AI reshaping industries rapidly, the pressure is on, kinda like the last leg of a extra time of a el classico but you’re Messi (or Ronaldo if you swing that way). That being said, it’s crucial to remember: you only need to get lucky once.

In @pmarca’s post about luck and the entrepreneur, he says there are 4 kinds of luck/chance.

Chance I is completely impersonal; you can’t influence it.

Chance II favors those who have a persistent curiosity about many things coupled with an energetic willingness to experiment and explore.

Chance III favors those who have a sufficient background of sound knowledge plus special abilities in observing, remembering, recalling, and quickly forming significant new associations.

Chance IV favors those with distinctive, if not eccentric hobbies, personal lifestyles, and motor behaviors.

The idea behind this post was to … just maybe … tip the scales in favor of those taking some action to have chance favour you, while also showing you what Gumbo can do.
